Muse Sings, expressing the freedom of creation...
Writing for School
Which is about all I have been able to do since starting school again. Sadly, my creative writing is suffering. However, I do need help writing on more professional, non-fiction subjects. At least it is writing. I have been working on characters, ideas, story. I just have not been writing any of it. However, I am only on my second class and I am still getting into the swing of things. I am close to getting a schedule set out, once I do, it will be easier to write a little creatively every day, edit and market on other days.
I ended up resigning from Dreaming In Ink again, I felt bad, I know Domy was really happy when I came back. However, I am looking at very little time to write, let alone critique twice a month and I just can't bring myself to give a half-hearted critique. Maybe it will make her happy to know I still plan to help her with her novel when I get the time again. Which doesn't look to be soon. The house work is suffering under my school schedule, I've been trying to clean a little every day, but with a six-year-old and three cats...it seems the messes I cleaned the day before are there again when I wake up. We'll get it sorted out. I'll give myself a writing assignment to complete before the day is over. a 100 word practice for my Rehearsal page.
I have another paper due the first week of this class that I need to get started on as well. I also have another project in mind that I would like to start, but I need another website. This means, since I have no idea how to design them, I need to find and probably purchase an already designed one. I won't be giving details any time soon here, however. I am debating on whether to make it anonymous and unconnected to Muse Sings.
That's all the writing update I have for now, other than I am also debating on merging the Rehearsal page with Muse Sings page again. I don't think many people are really interested in reading a boring writing update on the splash page all the time and I would like to use Muse Sings' splash page for writing exercises too. Plus, it is one less page to maintain, which I have been getting lax on. Things to think about.
Ja ne!
