On Vacation

We'll be leaving early this Wednesday to drive down to my mother's. She'll have Michael for the week while my hubs and I stay at a nearby bed and breakfast. It's going to be, for my husband and I, the honeymoon we never actually got. During that week we will spend two days with my mother and whomever else is there, taking her out to dinner for her birthday. Then one of those days we will be spending with Michael at the hotel swimming pool.

Mostly we'll be relaxing as a couple. Unfortunately, it looks like we might have to take our own car rather than renting one as planned though. We'll see. We'll be gone for about a week. I wish I had a notebook computer to take with me though. I don't need the internet, but it would be nice to find some of the quiet, really nice areas at the bed and breakfast to work on my novel.

Oh well, at least there's a pool :) If I make enough money after repaying my loans, then I'll get myself a computer notebook for writing. I should probably start generating short story ideas and firing them off after polishing.

Anyway, just thought I'd update this page in case anyone comes looking. I'd like to start updating my webpages regularly as part of my writing goals. I would also like to start filling this section with more interesting opinion and thought pieces rather than just telling you what I'm up to every few months hehe.

I should figure out a rough schedule.
