Okay, back when the very first Power Rangers came out, I was a fan, I liked martial arts action flicks and Jason David Frank was dreamy *giggle.* I stopped watching after the season where he was the white ranger. Now, I have a son who is reeeeeally into Power Rangers. Whenever I overhear him making a wish, it is always to be a Power Ranger. That's reason #1 that I'm writing this, maybe someday he'll land a part as a power ranger, but for now I'm writing this for him. Another reason is, I have noticed many things about the whole series of power ranger shows and will be slightly parodying some things (but in a fond and story-telling manner), and making some "firsts" for the main cast, as is my liberty in writing a fanfic. I have ideas at the moment, they are brewing, I'm thinking of the colors, the symbolistic animals, I just now thought of the main theme (each season has a theme that usually has something to do with the spirits/zords/etc present in the season), I don't believe I've seen a covert, spy mission themed Power Rangers, so for now that will be the theme. I would like this to end up being something my son will like to listen to and read himself, so I will likely also be including little bits of things that I know he'll get a kick out of (in other words, there may be a few "inside jokes" primarily written for him that I hope to fit in seemlessly that others won't be put off by them). I plan to fully have fun with this, so if you are an old fan, new fan, or just know enough about the power rangers to find this mildly entertaining, keep an eye out for future installments on it here ^_^ Saronai :: remember :: |
