Help the mud faeries find a home!

As a rule, Ash usually deals with whatever is left behind after a forest fire, turning pieces of burnt wood and ashes into new soil. But since fires are rare, he also works with dried out things, and, on occasion, dead stuff.

 Moving Along
July 26 ,2003

It's been awhile since I've really written anything. I spent over a month writing almost nothing at all (save for dream and regular journal entries by pen). Lately, I've been writing a little. Pecking really. A little here, a little there. I'm miserably failing my DII challenges. BUT, I'm happy. When I'm writing, I'm happy again, and this time I feel like maybe, just maybe I can finish this journey piece. I think sometimes, it's good not to rush. Today, I wrote on it some more. I've only totaled two scenes, but I'm still going, despite the fact that I know a lot of places that are going to need to be taken out, changed, or fixed in some other way. I look at them, note them, and move on.

The weirdest part of it all though, is that I don't know how I overcame this block (the fix it all before moving on block). I just sat down with a notebook, I don't even remember where, and started writing about Kei, then I started writing a scene with Kei in it, and now, I'm moving along. While I'm slightly ashamed of my puny word counts, I am still proud of myself. I can finally move on. Let us just hope I can keep it up.
