It's probably been so long since I've updated that any visitors I may once have had have stopped coming lol. I feel like I haven't written anything creative for ages! And yet still the muse doesn't whisper to me tonight--at least about freewrite material. My mind keeps wandering back to the ocarina I just got through the mail. I've gotten about 10 notes of one of my favourite humming songs worked out on it, unfortunately, it's not the first 15 (5 of them I just discovered while writing this entry) notes, but I figured I could get to that. I had trouble finding the first note when I started at the beginning, but through trial and error I found 4 notes in a row from the middle of the song so I figured I'd start there. I wish I could have gotten it with a willow tree, leaf, or feather instead of a star-like design made from triangles. It looks nice but the design doesn't connect on a spiritual level as much as I'd like it to. For some reason, it smells like french toast in here and it's making my mouth want to eat even though my tummy isn't hungry. I guess I'll leave it at that for now and post another entry when I can actually think of something freewrite to write on. Today is a prompt kind of day, and all prompts go in either solos or rehearsal.
