Help the mud faeries find a home!

As a rule, Ash usually deals with whatever is left behind after a forest fire, turning pieces of burnt wood and ashes into new soil. But since fires are rare, he also works with dried out things, and, on occasion, dead stuff.

 Working on it
April 6 ,2004

Yes, it may not look like I'm doing much here, but I'm working on it. Hopefully I can get to a point of writing daily in here again, or at least 3 times a week. I still don't have internet access at home though and can only get on Mon-Thurs elsewhere. At any rate, Stalemate is still my current wip, I am also working on a 10 page research paper about my brother's case and the injustices within our justice system which I don't wish to discuss here, but I plan to post the paper when it is finished. I am working on a couple of poems, doing lots of reviews and reading many books at once (some text books). I recently submitted "The Great Skinny Dipping Disaster!" to a book project by Stephanie Marston titled Living Stupid: Dumb Things Smart People Do. I have yet to hear back about being accepted or denied. I do not have too much faith in it being accepted as I didn't spend as much time honing the humor in it as I should have, but it was kind of like a last minute (reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally last minute) what would it hurt after all thing. The worst she could tell me is no and I would be fine because it's not my best.

The best news I have right now is that my DII writing buddy, a close friend, and my writing mentor of sorts has just had her first paid acceptance! Perhaps it's weird of me, but I really am very happy for her, very excited. I grin stupidly every time I think about LOL. I know she's worthy and I'm glad a publisher has finally come to realize that. Way to go Domy! I've also updated Voices with a new prompt I'm going to attempt to undertake. I need to listen to my muse more, she's getting kind of dusty in all the busyness of school.

Ja ne!
