So far, because of the huge amounts of sections I have for my website, it seems that the main page of Muse Sings has turned into just an update of what I am doing as far as writing goes right now hehe. As it turns out, a couple of days ago, I redid some brief character sketches of my Stalemate characters, AND I've added a new one and touched up on the love triangle. After I mapped out the love triangle I realized how silly it was, Wynaré is not that great and I thought it might be a little much having all of the characters she travels with in love with her, even if one is just in love with what she represents and doesn't realize it's the qualities that remind her of her old love and not Wynaré herself she is in love with. Which brings up the next thing about this silly love triangle thing--not only are both men she travels with in love with her, but so is the woman she ends up travelling with. So, I threw a new character into the mix that I've been contemplating, before though, "Dragon" seemed so useless, there for one moment in the book. However, now I have combined her with the characters of two other roleplayers in the brief time I made this an online RP game so "Dragon" is now a mesh of three characters created by someone else with my own stuff thrown in. Also, the original purpose of putting Dragon into the story is gone, because I'm not going to have Dragon perform that act lol. However, she serves a newer purpose that makes her a more essential character in the story than she was before, and perhaps a more interesting one too ^_^ Dragon is going to be in love with Kei, and, I've decided instead of having Kei in love with Wynaré too, he is going to be disinterested in love, which suits him just fine as he is just about disinterested and emotionless in anything but revenge for his people. So, now I think I am happy with my love triangle which goes something like this:

Wynaré-->Alex (buried/unrealized)
Wynaré-->Kei
Alex-->Wynaré (mostly realized)
Kei-->no one
Dragon-->Kei (steadily realized)
Navianna-->Syndranalsa (realized but slowly being derealized)
Navianna-->Wynaré (gradually, but actually in love with qualities representative of the old Syndranalsa)
Syndranalsa-->Used to be Navianna, but her curse has slowly eaten up any love she used to be capable of

There, I think that takes care of too many people being in love with the same person. Although, I don't think there is anything wrong with that, I've read some good stories where everyone seems to be in love with the same person (such as Fushigi Yuugi for example), but I wanted more of a love triangle for this story and I also didn't want Wynaré to have so much choice if you will, I think it is fitting that she should have to suffer unrequited love to become the goddess of nature lol.

So, now I am more satisfied with the love plot and the cast ^_^ Yay! I hope to actually begin writing soon. Wish me luck!
