I have a goal now to finish the rough draft of Stalemate this year, and I think I can do it. In fact, I think I can finish in time to eek out revisions before the year is out. I wanted to try to write 1000 words a day on it, allowing me to finish it in 2 months (if it doesn't go over 80k anyway, which the rough draft probably will), but I've realized that, especially while I'm still in school, eeking out the crushing end of study and homework, 1000 words is a bit much right now. However, I still aim to write on it everyday, at least 250 words and get 1000 whenever I can. Last night I got up to 893 ^_^

I've worked a little more on Kitsune Woodrose and the Path of Honor too, not to mention writing prompts from my calendar. I also took Stalemate to the local café, the Java Hut, to see what all the creative spirit in the café hooplah was all about. I've been possessed by greater creative spirit areas...but their guava-strawberry-banana-ginseng-tea icees are reeeeeeeeeeally good lol. Maybe I'll try a different spot to write in that possesses a creative spirit--it used to be those high school desks in the middle of a boring lecture, but I care too much about my grades to do that now, plus I don't feel so creative at them anymore :/
I feel tired instead hehe.
