Name: Tatiana Vivien Sylvette Diancecht Nickname: Thana Sex: Female Age: 18 Physical description: She has slightly wavy, flame-red hair that falls just below her rear. Normally she keeps it in a tight braid. She has a hard, stubborn face, almond-shaped green eyes, and a nearly shapeless, thin, but strong and lithe body. Her skin tone is neither pale nor tan and her skin appears nearly flawless. She wears the brand of the goddess who favours her most, Aria of the wind, depicted by the shape of a feather seared into the flesh of her right shoulder-blade. She is quite often seen wearing a pair of spotted hawk secondary flight feathers hanging from light brown, suede strips looped onto a lock of hair at her left temple, tightened by a clear blue topaz bead. Education level: Very high. Higher than her brother's and more extensive since it covers the formal magic training she started at age 10. She is not as knowledgable in matters of state as her brother, but is still trained in politics, planning, and managing a country as well as the bower, or the castle business of appearance and upkeeping. She has been trained in battle as well, unlawfully, by her brother, Sar, who named her Thana, which means arrow in ancient Tislocian (or the "old language"), after she bested him in archery skills. Sar also taught her a little of battle strategy. She has also furthered her own mischief by using magic secretly in ways she isn't supposed to by law, and pushed at the boundaries of place of gender by taking over management of the stable yard and horses (including breeding), and learning to track. Occupation/Vocation: Manager of the Agardia castle bower and stable yard as well as Princess of the kingdom. Social class, status, wealth: Third in standing in the kingdom's social class, after her father and brother. She is the same in status about, but liked a little less than the rest of the royal family because of her stubborness and tendency for spoiledness. She the princess of a very wealthy kingdom and spoiled, need to know anything else in regards to her wealth? ^0^ Marital status, children (names, ages, special problems): Unmarried and no children at the start of the story. She has never experienced love and makes a point to ignore the men at court just to take satisfaction in their discomfort. Unlike Sar, she has never taken a lover as of yet, she only teases (and has great fun of it too) Family, ethnicity: Alive in her immediate family, she has her father, King Aldrich Xanthus Diancecht, and her brother, Prince Sylvanus Darius Xavier Diancecht (Sar). She has two aunts, one, Morisa Tanith lives in the palace with her son Nalus and daughters Gwenara and Resela. The other, Yestelle Losire, lives with her husband, Gorad and their son Tameth out in the country, on a farm. Tameth is married to Heldrine and they live in the same, rather large house, with his parents. The grandparents are no longer alive. Her father is the third King in their family line that was originally decended from well-to-do farmers. The first King from her line had made it as a militia general who eventually revolted against the former tyrannic ruling family to issue the country of Tisloc into a golden age. Diction, accent, etc.: Her diction is neither slacking nor overly formal unless she is in court or in front of her father, then it is honey-sweet and dripping with formality. Her voice is normally smooth and flowing with a teasing quality to it. Close to the American accent like her brother. Relationships (close friends, mistress. work, etc): Her closest friend is her brother, Sar, whom she looks up to immensly and is her best friend as well as brother. She is close to her father who spoils her any chance he can get. She generally doesn't have many friends other than that, most tend to stay away from her whispering behind their backs at her oddities (things like she might as well be a prince than a princess) or not wishing to associate with her stubborn spoiledness. Her closest friends after Sar are among the horses, Arrow, her private steed in particular, and her white tiger, Ryena. Places (home - house or appartment, where located, etc; office; car; hang outs): She has never been out of the castle grounds. Her favourite place to be, and where she is usually to be found if she has a spare moment, is the stables, field, woods, or along the river all on royal grounds of course, and usually not too deep into the hedgeing woods either. Special possessions: The letters from her brother, and the horse statue he bought her a long while ago made of peacock stone, A hard rock that appears black from afar but on close inspection and turning it this way and that reveals plains of shiney green and blue specked with rainbow chips in a few places. Standing about a foot high and about half as much wide, the horse is rearing, its mane and tail windblown. Recreations, hobbies, interests: She loves to carve gemstones and rocks and such, work with horses, archery, anything having to do with the woods. She loves to hunt. She also loves to play freely with magic, paying no mind to conventions when she is away from prying eyes. Obsessions: Material possessions, horses, making her father proud and living up to her brother's standards. Being the best. Politics: While she doesn't love them she does find them entertaining and sometimes amusing. Belief system (religious & otherwise): Unlike Sar, she will believe in things she can't see if they take her fancy and prove useful to her in some way. She does believe in the four elements but not necessarily the goddesses that represent them. She believes in very little in the way of ideals thinking only of freedom to do as she wishes. Sexual orientation, history: Although she plays with men, enjoying "the game" and loving to tease, she has yet to be with anyone. She is straight without wishes to wander to her sex but she is still a selfish child uninterested in love. She is not boy crazy either, she just likes to play with their minds. Ambitions: To become the best at everything. Superstitions: She doesn't give much to superstitions and thinks them silly ways to dampen freedoms. Fears, phobias: She has yet to learn any fear though she is not overly fond of snakes. Likes, dislikes, loves, hates: She loves horses, loves to play games and tease, loves to best people, hates being shown up, likes a stern and honest man who isn't easily played with (though she does not yet realize it), loves to get her way, hates to have her freedom taken away in any form. Dislikes snakes. She admires cats for their independent spirits and finds a kindred spirit in them. Attitude about/towards others, life, etc.: They are there for her amusement if they are there at all, though she does have her tender moments. Life is about learning, experiencing as much as you can and being the best at what you do. Strengths: Stubborness, setting goals and striving for them with a pure heart, determination, pushing herself to be better at everything, humor. Weaknesses/Flaws: Stubborness, selfishness, short-sitedness, especially in regards to others, material obsession, the same spirit that gives her strength to strive for freedom and achievement can cause her to overlook and even step on others. She is overconfident in herself, has a short attention span, and is a little hyperactive, always has to be doing something. She quite possibly has ADHD Pets: Arrow, though he's more a friend than a pet. She has a white tiger for a pet, Ryena, also more of a friend. Taste in books, music, entertainment: She doesn't read for enjoyment, only when she needs to know something that she can't find out through experiencing it, even then she is more apt to go ask one of the scholars or her father's advisors. She loves all music and dancing, she especially loves the songs of legends and adventure, like Sar. Journal entries: She doesn't write in a personal journal, but her magic training requires that she keep a journal of her magical experiences and dreams. Correspondence: She writes her brother Sar at least every other week when he is away. Food preferences & dislikes: She likes any new foods she's never tried, her favourites are the ones from exotic countries and ones that are simply just far off from Tisloc. Her favourite dishes are the delicate-tasting pasta, rice, and meat dishes from Yistarl (Their version of chinese food). Handwriting: As quick and impatient as she is. It is legible but run together at a slant that gives away the haste in which she did it. Her lettering is tight and small. Astrological sign: Scorpio until further investigation. Talents, skills: She has a talent for humor, and with air magic. Her magic skill is 3/10 most of the time but she can become 8/10 when doing something she really wants to (like when she embued magic properties into the sar arrowhead she carved for Sar, and when she is just playing), mostly she is just too lazy to concentrate hard enough for any significant magical effect. She enjoys battle play much more and has a signifcant talent in archery (with the help of Air), she is easily 9/10 level.
