 I'm thankful for...

Things get so bad sometimes. I get tired of hiding, pretending I'm something I'm not and I can get so caught up in all the negative things in my life. All you ever hear is my complaints, and I'm grateful for that. I think it's time, for my own sanity, to make a list of things I am thankful for. I should make a habit of looking at it everytime I feel myself getting depressed.
1. I am thankful for my voice. I love to sing, and it's nice to have a voice that is pleasing to complement that.
2. I am thankful for the way I was raised, even if I don't know a thing about my real parents, Papa did a good job. I would have been lost without him, even if he is in the spirit world now.
3. I am thankful for Alex, it's nice to have a best friend, even if he doesn't know much about the real you.
4. I am thankful I'm alive, I may have to hide, but at least I'm not being put to death.
5. I am thankful for nature, all I have to do is visit the woods and I feel a whole lot better
6. I am thankful for my wynaré and that I can play it, it's the expression of my soul.
7. I am thankful for music.
8. I am thankful that Lord and Lady Delaney chose to keep me on as the Court Weaver after Papa passed away, despite my 'disfiguration'
9. I am thankful I know how to read and write
10. I am thankful I have a nice place to call home despite not being nobility
Perhaps I'll think of more things to write later on, right now I think ten is enough, especially since I'm beginning to run out of thankful things that are right at hand.
